East Bank Football Association (EBFA) wraps up U-14 League 2025
Timehri United emerged as Champions with 15 points and 19 goals scored.
Kaieteur sports – The East Bank Football Association (EBFA) proudly hosted the 2025 U-14 League, which ran from March 29 to May 26, 2025. This highly competitive tournament featured seven teams: Herstelling Raiders, Timehri United, Swan FC, Friendship All Stars, Agricola Red Triangle, Kuru Kuru, and Police Youth Club. Timehri United emerged as the champions after racking up15 points and scoring 19 goals in the process.
Tournament Overview
Over the span of 21 exciting matches, more than 100 youth players demonstrated exceptional skill, dedication, and sportsmanship. The tournament was characterized by energetic play, impressive goalscoring, and a display of emerging talent across all teams.
Total Goals Scored
A total of 102 goals were scored throughout the tournament, reflecting the attacking flair and enthusiasm of the young footballers.
Wayshawn Forde was the top goalscorer of the league.
Stand out Performers:
-Wayshawn Forde: 11 goals (Top scorer of the tournament)
Nyron Barrow: Most Valuable Player, with 9 goals
Gregory Ramascindo: 8 goals
Samuel Gaspar: 5 goals
Kerwin Chance: 4 goals
Brandon Bruce: 4 goals
The Best Goalkeeper award went to Samuel Braithwaite of Herstelling Raiders, for conceding the least number of goals and for his outstanding goalkeeping skills and key contributions in defence.
Final Standings:
- WINNER – Timehri United, Champions with 15 points and 19 goals scored.
- Herstelling Raiders, Runners-up, also accumulating 15 points with 18 goals scored but narrowly missing out on top place.
- Police Youth Club, Elevated from fourth to third, finishing with 12 points and 12 goals
- Swan FC, Fourth place with 12 points and 10 goals scored
- Agricola Red Triangle, Fifth, with 6 points from two victories
- Friendship All Stars, Sixth with 3 points from one win
- Kuru Kuru, Seventh, finishing with no points after losing all six matches
The EBFA is extending sincere gratitude to Guyana Football Federation (GFF) President Wayne Forde and the Federation for enabling the tournament to be played at the National Technical Centre (NTC) and for their generous sponsorship of the trophies and medals.
