Ministry of Culture Youth and Sport (MCYS/GCB) One PATHWAY tournament
Kaieteur Sports- One match was played in Berbice when action continued in the MCYS/GCB one PATHWAY countrywide under21 Inter Club Cricket tournament.
In the game played, RHTYSC A defeated RHTYSC B by 124 runs to top zone C of the Berbice leg of the competition.
In the game played at the Port Mourant Community Centre Ground Corentyne. The RHTYSC A batted first and reached 178 all out with Simeon Gafoor making 52 and Jonathan Rampersaud contributing 18. Bowling for the B team, Akash Sooklall took 4 wickets.
RHTYSC B in reply were bundled out for 54 with Jonathan Rampersaud returned with the ball to grab 4 wickets.
The other game between Young Achievers CC and D’Edward CC was not played because teams were unable to travel due to countywide disturbances.
Port Mourant has already topped zone D and awaits the winners of zones A and B. (Samuel Whyte)
