Another disappointing day at the office for Brickdam Secondary, falling 4-0 to New Central in their Round III encounter.
Yesterday’s round three matches set up an exciting finish to the group stage.
At QC ground, West Ruimveldt Secondary, which has been in fine form over the past three weeks, was held to a 1-1 draw against Essequibo’s Abram Zuil Secondary. West Ruimveldt’s Donavon Welcome opened the scoring in the 5th minute, but their opponents responded 54 minutes later when Omar Kendall found the equalizer. Brickdam’s Xavier Lawrence managed a consolation goal in stoppage time, but it wasn’t enough to prevent another loss.
Meanwhile, over at MoE ground, Group ‘D’ leaders Dolphin Secondary maintained their unbeaten record with a dominant 4-0 win over President’s College. Jamal Williams added another goal to his tally, while Collin Frank David, Kevin Bunton, and Brian Brower also found the net.

After a competitive opening 15 minutes, Denzell Abrams broke the deadlock in the 20th minute. From there, Waramuri took control, with goals from Ricardo Lewis (21’), Shakeel Marks (37’), Orwin Abrams (40’), and Dwayne Boyal (45’) securing their third consecutive win. They now sit comfortably atop Group ‘A’ with nine points.
