Blairmont CCC Club summer coaching clinic starts
Kaieteur Sports – With the closure of schools for the July- August holidays several activities have been planned to keep the children active.
The Blairmont Community Centre Cricket Club (BCCCC), West Bank Berbice has commenced its cricket academy and coaching clinics for crickets and youngsters mainly on the West Coast of Berbice.
Youngsters paying keen attention as coaching sessions began at the Blairmont Community Centre
The clinic which began on Friday 14 is expected to continue until July 19th at the Blairmont Community Centre Ground.
According to coordinator Shabeer Baksh, several top coaches in the country will be present to conduct the sessions.
Among the coaches expected to be in attendance are national coaches Esuan Crandon, Julian Moore, Garvin Nedd and former West Indies player Sewnarine Chattergoon and former National U19 player, Balram Samaroo.
According to Baksh persons registering for the sessions will, have an opportunity to register to become members of the Club.
Persons ages 10-21 are eligible to attend the camp.
On July 14, 18 and 19, the cricket clinic will run from 10:00h to 17:00h while on the other days, the clinic will be from 14:00h to 17:00h. Persons still interested in being a part of the camp can visit the location on make contact via WhatsApp No 644-2714. (Samuel Whyte)
