Former national youth player, left-arm orthodox spinner Dennis Legay grabbed four wickets for 32 runs for Amazon Kings but his team suffered a 38-run loss to Mississauga Dolphins last Sunday in the continuation of the 2022 Mississauga Cricket League Super 8 T20 competition in Canada.
Legay bowled his maximum four overs as Mississauga tallied up a sufficient 147-9 from the 20-overs, while Amazon Kings were 109-5 when the overs ran out.
Jafar Samad supported Legay with 2-35 from four overs, while Raja Pooran also snapped two wickets for seven runs in his two-overs outing.
Ali Faruqui hit a top-score for Mississauga Dolphins with 33.
For Amazon Kings, Sahraz Ramcharran made 44 while Ashane Haynes scored 21. Seamer Sameed Sohail took two wickets for nine runs from four overs, delivering for the winning side.
The competition is slated to continue on Sunday.
