Breaking News!!! RECOUNT – One Region One ballot box filled with water
Guyana Elections Commission (GECOM) Public Relations Officer Yolanda Ward confirmed reports that a Region One ballot box was found filled with water.
She said that the box likely collected water over time from rain, from a hole that was found on it. GECOM has drained the box and is in the process of trying to dry the contents. It appears to be the only ballot box that has water in it.
