On Tuesday, January 7, last, Henry Brebner of Cummings Lodge, East Coast Demerara, won one year’s worth of free groceries. The occasion was the drawing of the DSL Cash & Carry “Free Groceries” Promotion, at the Company’s Sheriff Street parking lot.
A very delighted Mr. Brebner expressed his excitement at winning the grand prize. He noted that he always shops at DSL Cash and Carry.
Eleven other lucky customers also won prizes in the promotion. They included Mr. Luis Moreno who won three months’ worth of free groceries; five other customers who won one month’s free groceries, and an additional five customers won free cash back on their total invoice for the day.
During November and December 2019, customers were given a coupon for every $5,000 spent at the DSL Cash & Carry Diamond, Ruimveldt and Sheriff Street locations; this made them eligible for the “Free Groceries” Promotion.
Mr. Bryan Prittipaul, General Manager of Distribution Services Limited (DSL), congratulated the winners. He noted that DSL Cash & Carry is always pleased to give back to its customers. He encouraged shoppers to continue to support the DSL brand.
There will be several opportunities to win exciting prizes as part of the Company’s monthly customer promotions.
