Ketley, Winfer Gardens, Enterprise and West Ruimveldt registered victories when the AL Sport and Tour Promotions / National Sports Commission 22nd End of School Year, Edward Cobenna Memorial Primary Schools five-over Windball Cricket Champions Trophy continued recently at the National Gymnasium.
Ketley Primary defeated Enterprise by 31 runs in the Female category. Ketley Primary won the toss and batted first, scoring 81-0. Tattinna Gordon struck 11 fours in a top score of 50 while Ommanna Vanderhyden made 26. Enterprise Primary mustered 54-1, in reply. Tyra Wilson made 40.
In the Male division, Winfer Gardens beat Ketley Primary by 51 runs. Winfer Gardens took first strike and managed 123-1. Shane Prince made 48 (6×6) while Dellon Wray scored 32 and Dorwin George 30. Ketley Primary responded with 72-0. Randy Collins and Ezekiel Frank David made 38 and 14 respectively.
Enterprise beat St. Pius by 81 runs. Enterprise scored 99-2, taking first strike. Moses Cordis stroked six sixes in a rapid 40 while Colin Gravesande got 29. Saint Pius replied with 81-4; Jeremiah Griffith scored 18 and Jaden Jero 12.
Graham’s Hall went down to West Ruimveldt by 9 wickets. Graham’s Hall got to 50-1, batting first; Taj Paul Mangro made 16 and Romario Williams 15. West Ruimveldt responded with 51-1; Vikash Asran made 24 and Joshu Gomes 16.
Enterprise overcame Ketley by 2 runs. Enterprise batted first and posted 112-1; Khy Atkinson made 58 (7×6) while Moses Cordis scored 48 (6×4). Ketley responded with 110-2; Christopher Nurse struck nine fours in a top score of 46 while Ezekeil Frank David made 37 and Randy Collins 16.
