Also present were Regional Secretary Dameion Forrester and Seon Holland, brother of the Club’s President, former Linden Mayor and Boxing Promoter, Carwayne Holland. “This is a new club that includes a national youth player and we at German’s Restaurant will continue to support anything that helps the development of a Community” Urling said.
Forrester, speaking on behalf of the Region 10 Club, thanked Urling and German’s Restaurant for the contribution to the youngest football club in Linden which is also involved in community development work by its involvement in several projects and informed that the Club is on the verge of putting together a female team.
The young Captain informed that Capital’s FC, one of 12 footballs clubs in Linden, has three teams; U-17, U-20 and the seniors who are preparing to compete in the Super Cup which starts on Sunday.
“The club was formed a year ago and I think this donation will help to develop the club and attract more members” said Myers who informed that they train at the Linden Technical Institute. (Sean Devers)
