An East Bank dental clinic is continuing to assist the vulnerable.
Last week, C. Persaud Dental Lab and Clinic hosted over 20 students of Ptolemy Reid Rehabilitation Centre over a two-day period at its Peter’s Hall, East Bank Demerara facilities.

Head of the clinic, Cobeer ‘Anand’ Persaud, disclosed that there were fillings, cleanings and extractions.
“We also donated some cash and equipment for therapy to the centre.
This would follow another similar of free service to the Blind Society.
“We have a social programme and we are giving back to society. This is the least we can do for some special people,” the officials disclosed.
Since 2013, the Blind Society has been benefitting with its members offered free service.
Among other things, the members of the society were given general checkups, cleaning and polishing and free dentures back in March.
According to Persaud, he plans to also assist The Palms, home for senior citizens.
