Dear Editor,
It is with great concern and sadness writing to you about a serious issue that’s happening at the Princess Casino on the East Bank of Demerara.
I’m a regular gambler in the casino and I notice a trend that’s happening and management of that facility is not doing anything about it. Certain people that come to gamble everyday often abandon their young children to wander and lime in the Ramanda Hotel lobby.
This has been happening a while now and this needs to be stop. Even on school nights when young children should be in bed or home getting ready for school next day their parents would abandon them in the hotel lobby while they gamble till the wee hours in the morning.
As a mother of young children I don’t think this is right for young children. I hope this letter reaches the ears of the Child Protection Agency so something can be done about parents leaving their young children in a hotel lobby while they gamble till 2am and 3am.
Thank You
Regular Casino Gambler.
