Jul 12, 2018 Dem Boys Seh, News
When de government announce dat it wasn’t raising de toll fuh de Berbice Bridge, nuff people panic and de whole Berbice laugh.
When dem boys hear de press conference wha de private investors in de bridge keep, dem was certain dat de people who controlling de bridge woulda get vex and just shut it down.
Imagine de govt got de bulk of de money in de bridge but Jagdeo and ee friends who got de private money in de same bridge calling de shots. Dem is de people who want to raise de toll.
Dem boys remember when de Bridge open and people couldn’t afford to pay toll. Jagdeo stop de boat service to force de people to use de bridge to enrich he and ee friends.
When de Berbice people kick up a fuss and private people put dem private boat pun de river, Jagdeo ban dat too. Dem boys seh, imagine if he was still in office de 150 per cent increase woulda sail through like when Kwame drink soup. Yesterday, one of dem send message dat if de government ain’t raising de toll, de least dem could do is sit down wid de private investors and talk.
Dem boys wan know, “Talk what! To full dem pocket more?” Is when Jagdeo hold ee press conference yesterday instead of Thursday, dat is when dem boys know wha happen.
Jagdeo got money in de bridge and ee friends got money in de bridge. Dem hide demself through some commercial bank here in Guyana.
Jagdeo now telling Soulja Bai dat he should give back dem private investors dem money dat dem got in de bridge if he don’t want to increase de toll.
He is de one who sign de arrangement; he know dat de deal was dat after 20 years de government would get de bridge. Twelve years done pass and dem was getting all de dividends from dem investment.
De govt never get a cent. Eight years lef before de handing over and dem want to scrape everything. Dem boys seh, give dem a chance and dem would scrape de paint from de bridge before Guyana get it.
Dat’s how greedy they are.
Talk half and beware of de wolves in sheep clothing.
