Dear Editor,
The Grove / Diamond housing schemes developed on East Bank Demerara, Guyana, is considered to be a large area for housing. The two schemes are separated by a canal, but the main access road is on the Diamond side and it is very major for residents and all types of vehicles,
The rainy season seems to have ended and the main access road is showing signs of serious deterioration—lots of pot holes, different parts are sinking and broken edges. The shoulders need ploughing to remove the razor and pimple bushes, for possible sidewalks.
I openly appeal to the Honorable Minister of the Ministry of Public Infrastructure to use your good office to have the above matter addressed with urgency. The citizens will be proud of you, because you are paying much attention to public businesses.
Yours faithfully,
Parmanand Ram.
