The National Procurement and Tender Administrative Board (NPTAB), yesterday opened a number of bids for tenders and the supply of goods at the Ministry of Finance, Main Street, Georgetown.
Tenders were opened for the construction of a vehicle overpass at the intersection of Diamond and the East Bank Demerara Public Road, Region 4. The Ministry of Public Infrastructure was listed as the procuring entity. The engineer’s estimate was announced at US$4.7M and the bids are as follows:
The Ministry of Public Infrastructure was also the procuring entity for the prioritization for the intervention of the East Bank Demerara pedestrian overhead crossing. The engineer’s estimate is US$906,491.
Tenders were also opened yesterday for the installation of LED Highway lights on sections of the Essequibo Coast Public Road. The procuring entity was the Ministry of Public Infrastructure.
The Ministry of Public Infrastructure was also the procuring entity for the construction of a pedestrian sidewalk along Woolford Avenue. The sidewalk is going to be 800 metres, from Albert Street to Camp Street. The engineer’s estimate is $23.7M.
The Regional Democratic Council for Region 4 was the procuring entity for the supply and delivery of one (1) fully reconditioned mini excavator at Caledonia Good Success Neighbourhood Democratic Council (NDC), East Bank Demerara.
Tenders were opened yesterday for the procurement of one (1) fully reconditioned garbage truck for the Diamond Neighbourhood Democratic Council, East Bank Demerara.
The Ministry of Education was the procuring entity for the supply, delivery, installation and testing of equipment for the New Amsterdam Technical Institute, the Essequibo Technical Institute and the Upper Corentyne Industrial Training Centre.

The Ministry of Education was also the procuring entity for the supply and delivery of photocopy machines.
The Ministry of Business was the procuring entity for the design and supervision of works at the Ministry of Business on South Road, Georgetown.
The Ministry of Business was also the procuring entity for the design and supervision of works at the National Exhibition Centre.
The National Communications Network (NCN) was listed as the procuring entity for the servicing and maintenance of the company’s fleet of vehicles.
The Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation (GPHC), was listed as the procuring entity for the procurement of electrical items for a FG Wilson Generator installation.
Tenders were also opened for the procurement of vehicles for the Cheddi Jagan International Airport.
