Woman on bail for posting nude photos of another
CHARGED: Sherene Singh
A Russell Street, Charlestown resident was granted bail to the tune of $20,000, after it was alleged she posted nude photos of another woman.
It is alleged that Sherene Singh also known as Sherry Singh, knowingly and without lawful excuse, exposed to the public, obscene pictures of the daughter of a popular businessman between May 1 and May 25, 2016.
Singh appeared before Magistrate Leron Daly last week, and pleaded not guilty to the allegation.
Kaieteur News understands that the defendant turned herself in to police after the matter was reported. The prosecution had no objections to her being released on pre-trial liberty.
She will make her next court appearance on August 3.
