104.3/LABA’s first annual Mash Cup Competition set to launch February 07th
Cash and Trophies are up for grabs as 104.3 Power FM in collaboration with Linden Amateur Basketball

Association will launch their first annual Mashramani Basketball competition on February 07th at the McKenzie Sports Club Hard Court.
According to CEO of 104.3FM, Haslyn Graham, the knockout competition will run over two weekends beginning on February 12th with the finals being played on February 27th, 2016.
Graham said the reason being him hosting this competition is he realized that the performance of players have declined tremendously over the past few years due to the lack of support. “Being a Past President of LABA and CEO of 104.3 Power FM I believe it is the opportune time to combine my love and experience for the sport in hosting this competition. I do hope other corporate companies will come on board.”
Six teams will battle for the first prize of $100,000, 2nd Prize $50,000 and 3rd and 4th place $25,000 and $15,000 respectively. Trophies will also be given to the Best Defence and Most valuable Player.
The teams are Half Mile Bulls, Retrieve raiders, Victory Valley Royals, Amelia’s Ward Jets, Block 22 Flames and bankers Trust Falcons. (Jacquey Bourne)
