Kaieteur Sports – Following a disappointing second round loss, Guyana will be desperate for a win against a formidable Windward Islands team, as the final round of the Women’s Super50 bowls off today.
After being dismantled by seasoned spinner Anisa Mohammed, Guyana enter today’s final round as somewhat easy pickings for the Windwards; who are fresh off a commanding win IN round two.
Guyana will need to rally behind their key players like Shemaine Campbelle, Plaffianna Millington, Ashmini Munisar, Shabika Gajnabi and Sheneta Grimmond for something special today.
The bowling for Guyana has never been bad, but their batsmen will need to focus against the likes of veteran players like Afy Fletcher, Janiella Glasgow, Earnisha Fontaine and others ; should they look to erase round two’s horror and end on a high note.
Trinidad and Tobago will also look to keep their momentum going against Barbados while Leewards should be keen on bouncing back from their recent loss when they face a confident Jamaica.
Matches bowl off from 9:30h.
