France (134), Jaundoo (119) put Skeldon in last 16 Play-offs

Skeldon Community Centre defeated No.71 by 168 runs in their final Zone P preliminary match to complete a clean sweep of that zone therefore earning their spot in the last 16th play-offs of the 2015 New Building Society Second Division
Cricket Competition in Berbice. Leading them to their big win were Charles France who slammed 134 (14 fours and 9 sixes) and Christopher Jaundoo 119 (9 fours and 11 sixes), the two of them together putting on 190 for the 2nd wicket to steer Skeldon to 335 for 6 in just 30-Overs, the highest score by a team in the competition so far. This was Jaundoo’s second century in the competition, having blasted what is still the highest individual score so far in the competition, 150 N.O. against No. 72 All Star. No 71 could only reply with 167 with former Berbice Under-19 offspinner Parmanand Narine picking up 4 for 27.
Edinburgh also advanced after defeating Flying Star of Kortheberaadt to win Zone D. In that match Philbert Willburgh scored 55 (4 fours and 4 sixes) to steer Flying Star to 172 in 28.3 Overs but then former Berbice Under-15 batsman Jamal Henry scored 69 (5 fours and 2 sixes) to lead Edinburgh to a 7 wicket win.
Also scoring half centuries were Loyydel Lewis of Port Mourant and Mahendra Singh of Blairmont Community Centre.

At Tain, Port Mourant beat Tain Block Four by 8 wickets.

Port Mourant 125 for 2 in 26 Overs with Loyydel Lewis 76 and Darmesj Seenarine 26.
At Blairmont, Blairmont Community Centre beat D’Edward by 7 wickets.
D’Edward 150 in 39.4 Overs with Eon Abel 41, Jaipaul Heeralall 26; Avishkar Sewkarran 3 for 18, Derick Cadogan 2 for 26 and Shabeer Baksh 2 for 30.

At Bush Lot in West Berbice, Bush Lot Challengers beat Golden Elparabell by 66 runs.
