Transport Sports Club (TSC) defeated Bel Air Rubis by 174 runs when action in the Georgetown Cricket Association (GCA)/ Malta Supreme Under-13 tournament continued Saturday last.
At the Malteenoes Sports Club (MSC), TSC batted first and rattled up 388-7 from their allocation of 25 overs. Adrian Hinds scored 19 as Michael Pooran and Omari Lallbachan claimed two wickets each.
Rubis suffered 17 dismissals in scoring 314 off their 25 overs in reply. Shivanan Gaskin and Alex Chunilall made 11 each, while Andrew Samaroo and Michael Pooran contributed 10 apiece. Jamal Michael snared four wickets while Donald Singh, Devon Allen and Ronaldo Fredericks captured two each.
Yesterday’s matches were abandoned due to rain. The tournament will continue next weekend.
