Exciting duels anticipated this Sunday at ‘Race of Champions’ Meet
The Guyana Motor Racing & Sports Club (GMR&SC) will be hosting its ‘Race of Champions’ Meet this Sunday, at the South Dakota Circuit and fans could expect a day of exciting duels in all the categories according to a source from the entity.
The official told this newspaper that all the categories have been fully subscribed and competitors are rearing to get into action with the Meet being dubbed as the precursor for the regional showdown set for November in the Caribbean Motor Racing Championship.
Twenty-four (24) races are carded for the day and competitors will line up in all the different categories in what is already being touted to be a day of keen rivalry among the best in the business.
The first race is set to begin at 09:00 hrs with the lineup of competitors set for 08:30 hrs.
Meanwhile, the GMR&SC is asking all vendors interested in vending on Sunday to contact its Head Office on Albert Street to finalise all arrangements to conduct such activities.
Vendors could make contact during office hours which is between 08:30 -16:00 hrs.
