National cadets, Kaysan Ninvalle and Niron Bissu were the first to win titles when the National Sports Commission
(NSC)/Guyana Table Tennis Association (GTTA) Mashramani Competition got underway yesterday at the National Gymnasium.
Ninvalle defeated Shemar Husbands 11-4, 11-7 and 11-3 and Cieara Sukhu 11-6, 11-3 and 11-2 to win the Nine-Years-and-Under Open title. Ninvalle returned in the Under-11 Boys final where he lost 9-11, 7-11 and 12-14 to title winner, Niron Bissu.
The Annual Mash Competition officially opened yesterday at the Gymnasium with GTTA Head, Godfrey Munroe and Director of Sport, Neil Kumar, ushering in yet another edition. The contest will continue today at the same venue with more age-group competition.
