Letter to the Sports Editor…CRICKET IMPOSTORS

Dear Editor,
Please allow me a space in your letter column to reply to a letter written by Mr. Rajendra Singh captioned “The government must allow the GCB to carry out its function” and published on the 17th September, 2012.
The CEO of the RHTY&SC Mr. Hilbert Foster already responded to this letter to clarify a blatant lie as regards to a statement he made. This letter was published on the 19th September, 2012 and captioned “Did not say that the IMC was a failure”.
I am a member of a club on the West Demerara and from the inception of this “Cricket Madness” I followed the entire saga. My interest was that nothing is happening on the West Demerara with regards to cricket and cricket development and interestingly the same persons who have destroyed the cricket on the West Demerara have now involved in this disaster nationally. Since the beginning of the power struggle by Ramsay Ali / Anand Sanasie / Raj Singh, I along with several cricket enthusiasts have been paying serious attention since we are worried that our cricket will be totally destroyed because of a few who wanted personal gains. We have attended most of the court proceedings and it is amazing what is being transpired in the letter column.
Mr. Hilbert Foster was not in court so he would not deal with the other lies. There were seventeen persons in court including Mr. Rajendra Singh, Roger Harper, Anand Sanasie, Bissoondyal Singh, Claude Raphael, Ronald Williams, Edward Richmond etc when Justice James Bovell-Drakes ordered that none of the factions of the Demerara Cricket Board can act until the matter is heard and determined as to which is the correct / legitimate group. He also got an undertaking from Mr. Mangal (the purported secretary of Raj Singh DCB) that they would not act.
Mr. Raj Singh himself stated expressively in his confusing missive that his secretary give this undertaking. How can this man who is supposed to be an insurance broker can willfully / intentionally seek to mislead / deceive the public? Even if he is suffering from a rare sickness regarding morality and decency, how can he declare himself the president of the DCB when the matter is still to be determined by the Honourable Judge? I do hope that the Honourable Justice James Bovell-Drakes saw the article and would share with his colleagues the type of people that are engaging the courts and how they are treating Judges’ decisions.
Mr. Rajendra Singh is residing in Cape Coral, Florida, USA and a quick check of immigration records at the CJIA will confirm that he is living with his wife and children in the USA. He periodically visits Guyana, How can you live in the USA and be the president of the DCB? Further when the matter is heard and determined by the court, the public will see clearly the deception from the beginning. How can we have such moral non-entities involved in sports and more importantly aspiring to lead? How can a ‘CHARACTER’ like Rajendra Singh question the credibility of Mr. Clive Lloyd MS CCH? What is happening to our society?
Mr. Rajendra Singh also said in his unctuous narrative, ”All of the manufactured allegations against the GCB were cleared by the Rupert Foster report, which investigation was commissioned by the Ministry of Labour. This infamous report however was scrutinized publicly to the extent that it actually incriminates the GCB rather than exonerates. Mr. Rupert Foster said in his report that in excess of eight million dollars were mistakenly placed in the Trustee’s account. However the same report said that there were no trustees. So Mr. Raj Singh, how could you place money in an account that do not exist?
I am definitely going to deal with the other deceits in that letter at another time but our journalist must start investigate these ‘CHARACTERS” and expose them if not, our sports will continue to suffer at the hands of the impostors!
