Two trophies presented
CEO of Caribbean Cargo Shipping Franklin ‘Bobby’ Vieira has donated two trophies towards the successful hosting of the ongoing Len’s Craft Optical / Sunburst Orange Juice Under-15 football tournament being played in Georgetown.

Vieira, an ardent football fan and supporter was approached by President of the Camptown New York chapter Ralph Green and he readily agreed to make a contribution stating that the development of youths is something that he {Vieira} will always contribute to and support.
While in Guyana recently, Vieira caught up with Organiser Franklin Wilson at the competition venue, GFC Ground and further expressed his delight.
Vieira pledged his company’s continued support for this tournament which is being held for the first, the brain child of CEO of Len’s Craft Optical. Alistair Parris. Green has donated the medals (gold, silver, bronze) for the first, second and third placed teams.
Wilson expressed gratitude to Vieira for his support and partnership while informing that the level of competition has been very encouraging and players have been very excited and disciplined so far.
Continental Foods Inc., a member of the Continental Group of Companies through its Sunburst Orange Juice brand is also a part sponsor of the tournament which will continue today with three matches from 08:00hrs with Riddim Squad coming up against Fruta Conquerors to be followed by a clash between BK International Western Tigers and Georgetown Football Club; the final game brings together Pele and Sunburst Camptown. Games will be played on Tuesday, Wednesday (semis) and on Thursday, third place playoff and final.
