Linden hit-and-run victim unidentified
A hit-and-run accident early yesterday morning has resulted in the death of a man of Amerindian descent, who is yet to be identified.
The dead man was discovered on the Linden Highway in the vicinity of a popular sawmill at Amelia’s Ward.The body was removed shortly after 05:00hrs. However no one in the vicinity seemed to know what transpired, but according to a reliable source, the man was seen drinking with some friends on Monday.
None of the friends could however be located for questioning.
Police are investigating.
