Launching of GVF /Aracari Resort Beach Tournament on today
Aracari Resort in collaboration with the Guyana Volleyball Federation (GVF) will be hosting a four-man Beach Tournament beginning next Saturday, at the entity’s resort Plantation Versailles, West Bank Demerara.
The tournament is formatted to last for five weeks with games being played every Saturday and is scheduled to culminate on the fifth week with the semi-finals and finals to be contested for an overall purse of $250,000 and trophies.
According to a member of the Organising Committee the launching of the competition is planned for 13:00 hrs today, at Aracari Resort.
