Industrial Safety Supplies Hand Gun Practical Shoot : Gordon Richards emerges top marksman
Gordon Richards emerged as the top shooter, at the recently concluded Guyana National Rifle Association Hand Gun Section Practical shoot sponsored by Industrial Safety Supplies.
The competition, which took place at the Timehri Ranges saw Dr. Johan Da Silva taking the overall runner-up spot with Ryan McKinnon third.
The competition consisted of two stages – fixed time limits, rapid magazine loading and magazine changes, engaging targets with weak hand only for the 5metre distances and strong hand from the other distances and engaging targets in the standing, kneeling and prone positions.
Dr. Da Silva won Stage1 ahead of Handgun captain, Dale Hing and Gordon Richards, while Stage 2 went to Hemant Narine followed by Gordon Richards and Joseph Chin.
