Kaieteur Sports – Among the 100 horses entered for the CARICOM Cup, tomorrow, Sunday July 5 at Bush Lot United, West Coast Berbice, all eyes will be on the fantastic five.
Champion horse Dataman, former champion Olympic Kremlin, Stat, Mapa Do Brasil and Rei Da Brincadeira will be battling in the feature race of the day; the CARICOM Gold Cup running at 1700 meters. The total purse for the feature race is G$ 5 million.
The track looks fast and the race meet should be one of greatness.
The first of 12 races of the day will be the K & L Maidens running at 1100 meters. Easy Star, Top Ranking, Damage Control, Citation, Twilight, World Boss, Miss Simron, Simple Simron, G Money 36, Bullet Train, Deep Impact, and Secret Jet.
Race two will be the L Class winners running at 1350 meters. Yellowstone, Country Rock, Secret Traveller, Perfect Trip, Sarkar and Doctor J are the six horses entered.
The third race of the day will be CARICOM Juvenile Fillies Futurity Stakes. Some of the horses entered are Princess Alisha, Secret Line, Lady Cash, Brilliant Bride, Boss Lady, Natural Flow, Diamond Time, High Beam and Fire Time.
Race four will be the CARICOM Juvenile Futurity Stakes. The horses entered are All the Time, Scars of Glory, Sweet Man Rock, Ocean Star and Money Bird.
In the G & H Class non-winner, and I Class, Bourbon Blitz, Tsunami, American Emperor, Daring Move, Supreme Leader and Ruff Time will be battling it out. The three-year-old and over West Indian bred winners will see Mulan, She WBO on Time, Sex Appeal and Head of the Class.
GT Boss headlines the three-year-old and over J&K Class race. The other horses battling are Three D Movie, Bin Laden, Spank Me, Storm Again, Republican, and Top Gun.
Adios Baby, the newly imported Wonder Woman, Protonic Doll, Pharoah’s Empress, Moonlight Dancer, and Royale Rocks are the horses for the CARICOM Imported stakes.
The CARICOM Derby three-year-old Guyana bred will see the likes Lost in Rome, Miracle Boy, Monica Time, Granite Storm, Torpedo Jet, Risen Star, Summer Time and Country Gold.
Anthem King will be running in the CARICOM Sprint Stakes that is open to four-year-old and over. So Te Peco Amor, Regal Man, Companheiro Leal, Order and Progress, and Frantic will be sprinting for glory.
The E Class and Lower race will feature Barbra, Ritorna Vincentori, Novo Sol, Spankhurst, and Full Liberty.
More than G$15 in cash and prizes will be up for grabs all roads lead to Bush Lot United, West Coast Berbice.
