(Kaieteur News) – The Integrity Commission of Guyana has published the names of 231 persons in public office who have failed to declare their assets for the period June 1, 2024 to June 30, 2025.
The Integrity Commission of Guyana is an independent anti-corruption body established under the Constitution to ensure that persons holding public office maintain high standards of integrity, transparency, and accountability.
According to a notice published in the official gazette on May 23, 2026, the list consists of prominent members of parliament, University officials, judges, magistrates, ministry officials and regional officials.
The notice outlined that the names were published pursuant to section 19 of the Integrity Commission Act as of the 18th May, 2026, 231 specified persons in public life failed to submit their declaration to the integrity commission for the 2025 period of June 1, 2024 to June 30, 2025
Those listed include Aubrey C. Norton-Former Leader of the Opposition, Ms. Beverley Alert-Former M.P, Shurwayne F. K. Holder-Former M.P, Deonarine Ramsaroop-Former M.P, Dineshwar N. Jaiprashad-Former M.P, Jermaine Figueira-Former M.P.
For the University of Guyana, the commission named Mr. Lambert Chester Former Dean, Faculty of Agriculture and Forestry, Dr. Roslin Khan – Former Dean Faculty of Education and Humanities, Dr. Paulette Henry – Former Dean Faculty of Social Sciences and Ms. Verlyn Klass – Dean – Former Faculty of Engineering and Technology.
Members of the Judicial Service Commission includes Justice Roxane George Acting Chancellor, Justice Carl Singh a former member of the JSC, Principal Magistrate Faith McGusty, Senior Magistrate Alex Moore, Magistrate Rabindranauth Singh, Magistrate Marissa Mittelhozer, Magistrate Annette Singh, Magistrate Tameika Clarke, Magistrate Tuanna Hardy, Magistrate Shivani Lalaram, Magistrate Michelle Matthias and Magistrate Ravindra Mohabir.
The list also includes, Team Leader-Management Committee of the Guyana Power and Light (GPL) Kesh Nandlall, Registrar of lands Rosalie Robertson, Ms. Tamika Boatswain- Director of Culture, Samantha Douglas Administrator -Palms, Vincent Alexander and Manoj Naryan Commissioners on the Guyana Elections Commission (GECOM), Newell Dennison of the Guyana Geology and Mines Commission (GGMC) and Mr. Enrique Monize CEO/ Commissioner of the Guyana Lands and Surveys Commission.
For Region One, the officials include Ammon Alpheius Thom -Regional Councilor, Donna Ann Bowen -Former Regional Councilor, Renatta Nicole Williams -Former Regional Councilor, Letecha Rose Benn-Regional Councilor, Seewchan -Former Regional Executive Officer, Shem Cuffy -Deputy Regional Executive Officer, Raul Boyer-Civil Engineer, Elly Peterkin-Regional Education Officer and Orison Sealy -Regional Agriculture Officer.
The above default specified persons in public life are requested to submit their 2025 Declaration Form on or before June 22, 2026. Continued failure to file will constitute an offence under section 22 of the Commission’s Act.
That offence stipulates that the offender is liable to pay a fine of $25000, together with six months’ imprisonment for failing to make the declaration within the deadline. Further, for continuous failure to make declaration after the June 22 deadline, the offender will be fined $10, 000 for each day the offence continues.
