Kaieteur Sports – Action in the Manoj Rajram “Luxury” Memorial 100 Balls cricket competition resumed last weekend with six matches.
Results of games played showed -No. 73 Young Warriors defeated No. 70 MYO by 1 run in a nail-biting finish.
No. 73 Young Warriors made 78 with Chitram Ramjass 27 and Lutesh Singh 18. Bowling for No 70 MYO- Niazi Khan picked up 3 wickets while Ahmad Khan took 2.
In reply No. 70 MYO -77 all out with Niazi Khan 21. Chanderkumar Ramjass took 3 wickets while Lakram Lathman took 2 bowling for No 73 Young Warriors.
No. 72 Cut and Load defeated Line Path Raptors by 35 runs.
No. 72 Cut and Load 131- Jameel Assad 56, Davanand Chatterpaul 26. Bowling for Line Path Raptors – Akthar Nahar 3 wickets.
Line Path Raptors in reply 96- Akthar Nahar 17. Bowling for No 72 Cut and Load – Davendra Jaggernauth and Deoprakash Ramdat took 2 wickets each.
Skeldon Jaguars defeated Crabwood Creek All Family by 175 runs.
Skeldon Jaguars- 219 with Sarwan Chaitnarine 50, Trishan Ramsarran 35, Orlando Persaud 29 and Akhram Ally 27.
Bowling for CWC All Family – Joshua Hira took 3 wickets while Derrick Jamesey took 2.
All Family replied with 44-Bhumesh Lalman 16. Bowling for Skeldon Jaguars- there were 3 wickets each for Aslam Baksh and Zulvikar Nabi.
Grillmaster Avengers defeated Moleson Wolf Warriors by 19 runs.
Grillmaster Avengers 140 with Salim Khan 54, Trevon Sukhu 29.
Romel Boodwah took 2 wickets bowling for Moleson Wolf Warriors who made 121 with Omar Ally 33.
Bowling for Grill Masters Avengers -Navindra Tamasar took 3 wickets while Julius King and Alvan Jeffrey took 2 each.
No. 69 Vikings defeated Crabwood Creek Bomb Squad by 3 wickets.
Batting first CWC Bomb Squad made 84 with Ganesh Raghubeer 20.
Bowling for 69 Vikings -Latchman Roopchand 3, Ryan Harripersaud 2 wickets.
No. 69 Vikings replied with 85-7 with Naeem Yacoob 16.
Ramnarine Appiah took 3 wickets bowling for CWC Bomb Squad.
No. 68 Turn Team defeated Yakasari Caribs by 43 runs.
No. 68 Turn Team 112- Totaram Persaud 35.
Ramesh Ayana took 2 wickets bowling for Yakasari Caribs who were dismissed for 69 with C. Paltu 18.
Anthony Dourjodhan 3 for 11 D. Persaud 3 for 3 Jason Hulosie 2 for 8 and L. Lutchminarine 2 for 16.
