Kaieteur News – Christopher Ali, the 28-year-old man wanted for the brutal stabbing of 15-year-old Tiana Chapman, has been located and handed over to police in Region Six on Friday afternoon.

Caught: 28-year-old Christopher Ali
Ali, of Pepper Street, Edinburgh Village, East Bank Berbice, had been on the run after attacking Chapman — his former girlfriend and the mother of his child — stabbing her more than 25 times, leaving her with punctured lungs. She was discharged from New Amsterdam Hospital on Tuesday, two weeks after the attack.
According to relatives, Ali was spotted along the Berbice River last week and was apprehended on Thursday evening. Before being handed to police, he was reportedly brutally assaulted by unidentified individuals and had to be rushed to the New Amsterdam Hospital for treatment.
