Kaieteur Sports – Good all-round cricket from the Agricola Positive Foundation Youth U17 cricket team helped them demolish Everest by 146 runs in their game played last weekend in the Georgetown Mayor and Friends Hundred tournament.
Batting first, Agricola Positive Foundation raced to 208 all out. Leading their batting effort was Kelston Kisten with 75. He was supported by Romario Ramdeol 52 and Thierry Henry 42.
In reply, Everest were skittled out for 62 with Vinesh making 29.
Bowling for Agricola, Gavin Kisten and Romario Ramdeol picked up three wickets each whilst there was one apiece for Adrian Hetmyer and Richard Ramdeol.
With the win Agricola Positive Foundation Youth has advanced to the semifinal of the tournament which is being organised by the Georgetown Cricket Association. (Samuel Whyte)
