Kaieteur Sports – The year 2025 has been one of pride and progress for the Guyana Cricket Board (GCB), as the Board continued to fulfil its mandate to promote and develop cricket across Guyana.
Throughout the year, the GCB provided cricketers with meaningful opportunities to realise their potential while proudly representing the Golden Arrowhead at all levels.
As the cricketing community welcomes 2026, the GCB Executive Members and Staff extend best wishes to all cricketers, cricket fans and enthusiasts, corporate partners, members of the media, and the entire cricket fraternity for a blessed and prosperous New Year.
Message from the President, Guyana Cricket Board, Mr Bissoondyal Singh: “As we welcome 2026, the Guyana Cricket Board reaffirms its commitment to working closely with teachers, coaches, technology partners, and—most importantly—parents and guardians to strengthen the development of cricket in Guyana.”
“In keeping with the vision of His Excellency President Dr. Mohamed Irfaan Ali, we continue our outreach to hinterland communities to unearth new talent and advance cricket into a modern, inclusive and sustainable future.”
“I call on everyone to join us in this shared vision—united in purpose, driven by passion, and committed to building a stronger future for cricket in Guyana,” he ended.
