Kaieteur Sports – Three Dominoes teams vied for the Grove/Diamond fund raising tournament last Saturday at the Diamond Community Center Ground. The teams are White Fox, Warriors and Stars.
The event was organized by District Coordinator Mr. Balaj Budwah. Mr. Scott was the games coordinator. White Fox was the winner with 70 games, while Warriors and Stars tied on 63 games. Stars took the edge by winning on fours. All three teams were awarded with trophies and cash incentives. Mr. Rasheed Gafoor was awarded a special trophy for sharing the first love in the competition. Entrance fee for the tournaments was $10,000 per team.
The game saw high discipline from players and spectators throughout the day. Mr. Scott was mentioned for the way he administrated the game which was Coordinator by Mr. Balraj Budwah.
Sponsorship came in from Jeffrey’s Hollow Blocks Establishment and Mr. Changlee of M S Trading.
