Kaieteur Sports – Skeldon Community Centre defeated Blairmont Community Centre by two wickets in their game of the Ivan Madray First Division T 20 cricket competition.
Scores were: Blairmont CC batted first and were dismissed for 87 all out with C. Harry 26 and A. Jaikarran 13 making contributions.
Bowling for Skeldon, D. Jaggernauth snared 4-10, while S. Rasheed bagged 4-13.

Berbice River Cricket Association (BRCA) team that played against Police in the Ivan Madray cricket competition.
In reply Skeldon did not find things easy as they limped to 89 for 8 with S. Rasheed 18, C. France 15 and T. Reynolds 14 top scoring.
Bowling for Blairmont, Shabeer Baksh and C. Harry picked up two wickets each.
Meanwhile, the Berbice River Cricket Association (BRCA) made an historic entry into First Division cricket in Berbice. They travelled for long distances out to the coast to play the Police CC team in another game of the competition.
The game which was played at the Young Warriors Ground in Cumberland, East Canje, saw Police winning by five wickets. The game was reduced to 15 overs due to rain.
The BRCA batted first and were held at 100-6 in their allotment of overs with Quacy Sinclair 25, Ronald Singh 21, Melroy De Silva 18 and L. Lindie 12. Extras contributed 14.
Bowling for Police, Paul James and Rocky Hutson picked up two wickets each while there were one apiece for D. Mitchel and Joel Seitram.
Police in reply reached 106-5 with Kareem Mentore 41 and R Beharry 23 the top scorers. There were 23 extras.
The wicket takers for BCRA were Melroy De Silva and L. Lindie with two each, while J. Leacock took one.
The BCB lauded the efforts of the BRCA for fielding a team in the competition.
The BCB is looking forward to seeing a player from the Berbice River area making his debut for Berbice.
