(Kaieteur News) – Guyanese beauty ambassador, Arian Dahlia Richmond has been selected to represent Guyana for the first time ever at the Miss Friendship International pageant in China
Miss Friendship International is an esteemed global beauty pageant that celebrates cultural exchange, international goodwill, and the spirit of unity among nations.

Under the banner, delegates from across the world come together not only to compete but also to forge lifelong friendships, and promote mutual understanding.
As part of the Miss Friendship International experience, contestants travel across various cities in China, immersing themselves in its rich history, culture, and traditions. Guyana’s debut in this prestigious event is a moment of national pride, symbolizing the country’s growing influence in international cultural representation.
In a historic milestone, Richmond is proudly participating for the very first time, marking a significant step forward in the nation’s presence on the global pageantry stage.
Richmond is best known for her excellence as an entrepreneur, model, volunteer, and marketing specialist.
Hailing from Bartica, the 26-year-old has distinguished her career by combining business acumen, philanthropic commitment, and significant achievements on the international pageant stage.
Richmond is pageantry par excellence having consistently demonstrated grace, intelligence, and a compelling stage presence, culminating in numerous top titles; Miss Global International 2024, Miss World Guyana 2022:–First Runner-Up; Miss Emerald International 2020–Second Runner-Up and National Representative ; Miss Caribbean Culture Queen 2019– First Runner-Up; and Miss Guyana Culture 2019–National Representative and Miss Bartica Regatta 2018.
Beyond the runway, the Guyanese beauty ambassador is dedicated to service, emphasizing that volunteering is a mission, not a hobby. Her efforts have been formally recognized National Youth Award of Service in November 2017.
In recognition of her dedicated efforts in promoting women and girls in education and entrepreneurship, the beauty queen is also a formidable debater, having secured wins as the Youth Parliament Debate Opposition Winner in March 2016 and the JOF Haynes Debating Competition Winner in December 2016.
When she is not engaged in her professional or charitable work, Richmond is an adventurer at heart. She enjoys challenging herself by hiking tough terrain, and finds creative expression through singing and reading.
