The incident involved a motorcar bearing registration number PNN 5140, which was driven by 25-year-old Shawn Alleyne, and a motorcycle bearing registration number CP 4540, which was driven by the deceased.
According to police, Alleyne was proceeding east along the Mocha Access Road at an alleged fast rate, when he collided with Sookram who was heading in the same direction.
