Foulis man jailed, fined $1M for sexually molesting a child

Kaieteur News – A 28-year-old construction worker was sentenced and fined for sexual activity with a child, family member.
John Chappelle who hails from 13th Street Foulis, East Coast Demerara (ECD), appeared at the Cove and John Magistrates’ Court before Magistrate Orinthia Schmidt who read the charge. Chappelle pleaded guilty to the offence and was subsequently sentenced to two years imprisonment and fined $1Million.
