Well, he neighbour who living hand-to-mouth and running a lil charity dat strugglin more than GPL tek one look at de tax returns and seh, “This man swimming in money, and he ain’t giving nobody nothing!”
De neighbour decide fuh pay he a visit. He knock pon de big brass gate and wait. When de politishun come out, de neighbour seh, “Look, boss, I see yuh mekkin G$50 million a year, but yuh na give one red cent to charity! Now me charity need help, and guess wah? I live right next door. Write me a lil G$1 million check, and me promise yuh won’t hear from me again.”
De politishun buss out one long steups and seh, “Yuh really believe because I mekkin G$50 million, I got money fuh fling around? You know wha going on in me life?”
De neighbour start fuh stutter, “Uh…well…”
De politishun cut in quick-quick. “You know me father house bun flat last year? He na got a blade o’ grass left to he name!”
De neighbour seh, “Wait… I na hear bout dat…”
“And you know me son crash he car de odda day? De hospital bills bigger than a sand truck overload pon de East Bank road!”
De neighbour rub he head, “Ah… sorry, boss…”
“And you know me sister husband tek off, gone back to Suriname, and lef she wid four pickney fuh feed?”
De neighbour now feeling shame. He seh, “Oh man, me ain’t know all da story…”
De politishun lean in close and seh, “Well, if I ain’t give dem one dollar, wha mek you think you special?”
