10/10 cricket competition in Berbice next Sunday

Kaieteur Sports – Cricket fans in the Upper Corentyne area will be treated to a day of cricket when the No 48 Challengers cricket club of Corentyne stages a one day 10/10 cricket competition.

Six teams are expected to participate in the competition which is slated for Sunday 29th October.

The teams expected to participate are No 64 Fighting Marines, No 43 Scorpions, Tamarind Root, Yakusari Caribs, Just Try cricket club and the host No 48 Challengers.

There will be cash prizes and trophies for the winner and runner up teams. There will also be incentives for the best batsman and best bowler and other outstanding individual players.

Starting time is 09:00 hrs.
