The Attorney General should not make blanket condemnations of the judiciary

I read recently the narrative of the Attorney-General (AG) Nandlall of the anguish, agony, anxiety and pain as a result of the judicial system inflicting trumped up charges. The lamentation and sleepless nights which the AG must have endured is beyond our imagination.
He was charged with other members of the then executive of then former government, including our President and others. The cases, without merit, prolonged until the end of the Granger government in the Courts, yet the DPP Chambers did not find it fit to terminate those unwarranted and baseless charges against these noble servants of the State. However, the said DPP Chambers thought it fit at the end of the Granger regime to terminate those proceedings against the Defendants who are now members of the executive.
Therefore, the Honourable Attorney-General Mr. Anil Nandlall, S.C. should not make a blanket condemnation of the judiciary but against those who are constitutionally vested with the power to INITIATE, CONTINUE and TERMINATE criminal proceedings.
I now see Dr. Bisram writing a long epistle on the presumption of innocence in the case of Mr. Dharamlall, whom it is alleged committed the gruesome act of rape and sodomy. In this case, in as much as the content of the victim’s statements reached the press giving her narrative of the vicious acts upon her, the presumption of innocence, according to Dr. Bisram, prevails; but I wish to inform this famous doctor that this evidence was not allowed to be led in any of the Courts of Guyana, yet in the AG’s case, it was pontificated all over the world to his pain, hurt and shame.
I pose this question to the press and to the world, “If Mr. Dharamlall had committed no crime or any crime whatsoever known to our law, why did he resign from the august body of parliament?”
