National Sports Commission and Big Boss Transportation on board
Following hot on the heels of the Champion-of-Champions dominoes competition won Thursday by Executive from Gold is Money and Providence, another blockbuster dominoes event will take at the National Gymnasium today.
The event is a 36-team showdown among some of the biggest teams in the country and the event is a collaboration between Big Boss Transportation Services and the National Sports Commission.
According to Lindon `Poison’ Boston of the Big Boss Transportation Services, a number of the top teams in the country have already entered the event.
Boston said that the event will be graced with the presence of the National Sports Commission’s Big Three of Minister of Culture, Youth and Sport, The Honourable Charles Ramson Jnr., Chairman of the National Sports Commission, Kashif Muhammad and Director of Sport, Steve Ninvalle.
Among the teams expected to participate are C6, C7, MI5, R&R, F&H, 300, GGMC, OPKO, Lions, In Time, Killas, Mix Up, Hammer, Masters, Players, 1996 Law, Frankie’s Spartans, Big Girls, Phantom, Next Level, Upper level, Wild Bunch, Fresh Cash, North Star, Gangsters, Quiet Storm, Orange walk, Turning Point, F&H Supremes, Gold Is Money, Providence, Big Boss Girls, Straight Point, Mings Products, Manish Puppies, Alpha Warriors, Executives/Pain, Robb Street Strikers, All Seasons Racing and Ministry of Health.
According to Boston, all prizes are guaranteed and there will be zero tolerance on indiscipline.
Starting time is 1.30pm and there will be no exceptions.
The winning team is set to receive $300,000 with $200,000 and $100,000 going to the second and third place finishers.
The Most Valuable Player will receive $10,000.
