Kaieteur Sports – The Management of RS Sports wishes to inform the general public that the 2nd One Guyana Independence Softball Cup and Family Funday, which was scheduled for Sunday, May 24, 2026, at the Rose Hall Canje Welfare Ground, has been postponed to Sunday, June 28, 2026, at the same venue.
According to the organizers, the decision was taken due to the ongoing adverse weather conditions and the predicted weather forecast for the upcoming weekend.
The organizers stated that the safety and comfort of all participants, patrons, sponsors, and supporters remain their top priority, and as a result of the unfavorable weather conditions, they were forced to postpone the event.
They further apologized to the public for any inconvenience caused and expressed gratitude for the continued support towards the successful hosting of the event on the new date.
