The Georgetown Dominoes Association (GDA) will be hosting a Dominoes extravaganza tomorrow at Turning Point Sports Club. Entrance fee is $12,000 and the winning team will take home a trophy and $175,000, runner up a trophy and $75,000, third place a trophy and $50,000 and fourth place a trophy and $20,000.
The competition which is being sponsored by the Ministry of the Presidency will commence at 14:00hrs. According to the Senior Organising Secretary of the GDA, Mark Wiltshire the first three rounds will be played on aggregate points and the top nine teams will advance to the next round.
He informed that the semi finals will be played using the sudden death 1-in-2 out format. Teams are asked to be on time to facilitate a prompt start.
