When people fail to pay attention to whatever they are doing there is bound to be disaster. Such would be the case when a child would suffer burns because its mother in the kitchen would not be paying attention.
The police would be called in because the explanation would not gel with what is reported. But then again, the authorities are generally sympathetic to parents.

Another school would be in the limelight when news surfaces about inappropriate behaviour between a teacher and pupils. In some countries female teachers are usually the ones at fault but in this case it would be a male teacher.

There will be some interesting comments in the political circuit. The Caribbean Court of Justice will not decide until May when the voters’ list would be outdated.
The issue will be the nature of the registration. Guyana is at the crossroads.
