Half centuries from Keme Dindyal and Richard Persaud handed Ariel Masters a comfortable victory over Narine Masters when the Georgetown Softball Cricket League Inc. (GSCL Inc.) Crown Mining Supplies, Elegant Jewellery and Pawn and Ink Plus softball tournament continued on Sunday at Malteenoes Sports Club.
Dindyal struck five fours and three sixes in a top score of 60, while Persaud hammered one four and six sixes in scoring a fluent 59 as Ariel Masters rattled up 161-7 in 20 overs, batting first. Raghunandan Narine snared 3-16 and Dereck Mangar 2-16. Narine Masters were skittled for 39 in 7.2 overs in reply. Dharam Persaud claimed 3-7, Peter Persaud 2-3 and Raymond Harper 2-11 for Ariel who won by 12 runs.
