Key stakeholders in Guyana’s lubricants market had the opportunity to benefit and to gain a greater understanding of the technology and advantages of the shell range of lubricants. Stakeholders were sensitized to the evolving Shell range of technologies, through the Shell Lubricant’s Road Show.
The show was staged at G&P Jaigobin Supermarket, Anna Regina Essequibo yesterday.
Sol is a Shell licensee; it uses Shell trademarks under license. The Sol Group of Companies operates in 23 countries across the Eastern Caribbean.
Sol supplies fuels, lubricants, bitumen and LPG through an extensive service station network with marine, aviation and commercial operations.
The fair which was both entertaining and educational, left the vehicle fleet owners and drivers in the state of astonishment. Farmers, miners and drivers of gasoline vehicles and small trucks, all benefited through their attendance to the fair.
Some of the remarks from customers were, “It’s good to have more information than what’s available presently.” “As older folks I believe we have more to learn about the evolving world of technology.”
“There are new cars and new machineries that may have other lubrication requirements. As Sol advertised their products you now get a better understanding on what products you can best use.” “One of my friends has heavy machinery in the back dam so I think the brochures here would be of much benefit to him.”
General Manager, Liz Wyatt, said that participants in the Road Show not only learned how the Shell Lubricants range of products could protect and preserve their equipment. They were also sensitized to the product that would be best suited for their particular application, based on the age and type of equipment they have.
“This road show is an opportunity for us to share more about the advanced technology and value of the shell range high-quality lubricants with our valued customers and associates in an atmosphere of fun and excitement. We are looking forward to making sure that everyone is more aware of our products range, especially our synthetic offerings, and unbeatable value propositions,” Wyatt said.
She added, “Our mandate at Sol has always been to deliver the best value products and services to our customers. That’s why we are proud to distribute world class Shell Lubricants like the Shell Helix and Shell Rimula ranges, and to use occasions like this Road Show to connect with our customers, and to exemplify the Shell credo that ‘together, anything is possible’.”
On the fun side, DJ Akelo kept things lively, and the Road Show participants had the opportunity to spin the wheel for instant prizes, and experienced the excitement of grand Turismo and Forza electronic Racing Games.
