Following days, rather nights of intense rivalry which saw teams preparing doggedly
towards emerging winners of their respective matches, the initial 32-teams which breasted the tape have seen some 28 fell away with only four having a full view of the finish line.
It’s now down to the semi finals of the GT Beer Keep Your Five Alive Futsal knock-out competition and this will take center stage on Saturday night at the National Gymnasium between four no nonsense teams.
Sparta Boss will throw down the gauntlet to Futures Stars in the second semi which would be the main event on the night. Back Circle will throw everything on the line in the first semi final against West Front Road with the aim of making it into the final and a shot at the top prize of $500,000. Second place is $250,000.
Fans are however in for a treat as not only the semi final matches will be served up, a number of entertaining exhibition matches will also be contested. First up will be a grudge match between Bent Street and Sophia which would be followed by a shindig between Broad Street and Tucville after which, Tiger Bay will have a chance to prove they are better than Albouystown.
