C7 skipper Thom Marvin collects the runner up trophy from GDA president Faye Joseph while his team mates share the moment
Spartons proved too good for their opponents as they captured the Deon Carter/ Stag Beer dominoes title on Monday night at Dynasty.
Spartons marked 86 games to beat C7 on 60 and Sadist with 54 in front of a decent crowd. Roberto Osbourne who played through due to the absence of one of his team mates made 30 out of 36 games while Stephan Duncan and Dexter Thompson who shared a double love made 15 each.
Thom Marvin and Sheldon Gourick got 12 apiece for the runner up team while Richard Mittleholzer scored 13 and Clifford Sardena 12 for Sadist.
Sparton pocketed a trophy and $140,000 while C7 took home a trophy and $60,000 and Sadist a trophy and $30,000.
Stag Beer brand manager Lindon Henry congratulated the winners and thanked the other participating teams adding that they are happy to be associated with the tournament. (Zaheer Mohamed)
