President David Granger greets Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit upon his arrival at the Pegasus Hotel
His Excellency President David Granger, yesterday morning, sat down for a breakfast meeting with the Right Honourable, Roosevelt Skerrit, Prime Minister of Dominica, who is in Guyana for the Caribbean Community’s (CARICOM) Thirty-Seventh Regular Meeting of the Heads of Government.
The Meeting will be held from today to Wednesday, 2016 under the Chairmanship of the Dominican Prime Minister. The meeting is being hosted in Guyana since Dominica is still recovering from the effects of Tropical Storm Erika, which had battered that Island. Prime Minister Skerrit is assuming chairmanship via the rotating chairmanship mechanism from Belize’s Prime Minister, Mr. Dean Barrow.
Secretary General of CARICOM, Ambassador Irwin LaRocque was also present at the meeting.
