Christianburg Wismar Secondary invited to Sir Garfield Sobers Int. Tourney
Seeking sponsorship for 2.8M budget
The Christianburg Wismar Secondary School of Blue Berry Hill, Wismar Linden has been invited to participate in the 30th Annual Sir Garfield Sobers International School’s Cricket Tournament scheduled for Barbados from July 3 – 20.
A contingent of eighteen (18) persons has been selected to represent the school and will depart Guyana on July 2 to return on July 21st.
In a release from the school, it states that their budget is 2.8 million dollars and they are in the process of seeking sponsorship to cover expenses associated with the trip. Team Coaches are Mr. Dellon Peters and Mr. Andrew Richmond, Manager – Mr. Sherwin Graham and Public Relations Officer, Mr. Basil Edward.
